Description of the Research Field

Professor Glodež has been habilitated for Machine Parts with Technical Drawing, Engineering Design and Tribology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the University of Maribor. Professor Glodež is holder of courses from the field of technical drawing, machine parts and engineering design at undergraduate studies and from the field of dimensioning of structures at postgraduate studies. His research field predominantly relates to problems of fatigue, fracture mechanics and dimensioning of machine parts and structures, whereby his research work includes modern numerical methods and experimental research. He cooperates extensively with both the industry and other institutions home and abroad. The results of his work are regularly published in national and international scientific and professional journals and at conferences.
